ECT (Early Career Teacher) Hub
Teaming Together To Support Early Career Teachers
The first five years of teaching are some of the most exciting and exhausting years of the profession. One in three new teachers leaves the profession within that window, not because they lack passion, but because they lack the right support at the right time. We believe that changes when everyone in a new teacher's circle shows up with purpose, practical tools, and a shared commitment to their growth and wellness.
The ECT Hub is a resource center built for the entire support system surrounding early career teachers. Whether you're a new teacher finding your footing, a mentor teacher walking alongside someone just starting out, or a school leader building a culture where new teachers can thrive, this space was created for you. Rooted in research and lived experiences, Christina Meline and the Team Meline community have curated and developed these resources to meet each audience where they are, with practical tools that make a real difference in the day-to-day.
Early Career Teachers
You’re navigating one of the most meaningful — and stretching — seasons of your professional life, and you don’t have to do it alone. The Early Career Teacher section of this hub is filled with free, practical resources designed to help you build confidence, find your rhythm, and reconnect with the purpose that brought you to this work.
Mentor Teachers, Coaches & Supervisors
The way you show up for a new teacher matters. This section is designed to equip you with practical tools and thoughtful strategies for providing meaningful, consistent support — whether you’re serving as a formal mentor, instructional coach, university supervisor, or trusted guide walking alongside a teacher candidate or early career educator.
School Leaders & Administrators
Teacher retention is deeply shaped by school culture, and school culture is shaped by leadership. This section provides resources to help you build systems, structures, and environments where new teachers feel seen, supported, and set up to thrive.
What you’re feeling is real, and it’s not the whole story…
